ToriJo Senior Interview

What are your plans after high school?

My plans after I graduate is to go to a 2 year college to get my RN.



Tell us about the location you chose for your pictures and its significance to you.


The ivy wall I picked to take some of my pictures by was to re-create one of my moms senior pictures. I did the same pose and wore the same outfit and It means a lot to me and eventually for my kids, it will be cool for them to see.


What activities are you involved in and how have they shaped you into the person you are today?

I am involved in Volleyball and Dance. They have taught me how to be a team player and work with others. I have been in dance since I was 3 and this is my last year, being a part of a dance team has taught me commitment. You have to be at practice if you want to be better.



If you could take a dream vacation to anywhere with anyone, where would you go and who would you take with you?

My dream vacation would be to Australia with my parents because it’s a totally different atmosphere and it’s so beautiful.



What advice do you have for the underclassmen as a senior?

My advice to underclassmen is enjoy your time now because you will want to go back when you grow up and go to every school dance you can!!


Who has inspired you the most so far in life and how have they done that?

My Grandma Carol has inspired me the most in life. She’s my biggest motivation for going into the medical field. She was a very independent and strong individual, and she had goals and achieved them. I aspire to be like her.


What was your favorite thing about your session with us?

My favorite thing about my session with Rucker Photography was that all my pictures are very unique and I got an input on my poses and backdrops in a relaxed and comfortable environment where I could be myself.





What is your favorite memory from high school?

My favorite memory from high school is getting 5th in Hip Hop at state dance my junior year because that was only the 4th year my school had a dance team and hopefully we can place higher this year.



Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

In 10 years I see myself having my own home and family as well as working in a hospital to help better others.













How have your goals changed since you started as a freshman to now?

When I was a freshman my goal was to be a school teacher, then as a Junior I got my CNA and now that I’m a senior I started working in a nursing home and now my goal is to complete the next 2 years of nursing school.
