What are your plans after high school?
I plan on attending the University of Iowa, majoring in psychology.
Tell us about the location you chose for your pictures and its significance to you.
I chose to have most of my pictures in Iowa City or Coralville because it is where I grew up. I want to be able to look back at these pictures and remember the places that I visited when I was growing up.
What activities are you involved in and how have they shaped you into the person you are today?
I am in band and show choir. I have made a lot of friends through the music program and I have grown a lot throughout my time in band and show choir.
If you could take a dream vacation to anywhere with anyone, where would you go and who would you take with you?
My dream vacation would be going to New York with my sister. I would love to go to New York to see a musical on Broadway, which is something I know my sister wanted to do as well.
What advice do you have for the underclassmen as a senior?
Push yourself to try new things.
Who has inspired you the most so far in life and how have they done that?
My sister has been the biggest inspiration for me because she was able to accomplish her goals in life, and so I have hope that I will be able to accomplish my goals as well.
What was your favorite thing about your session with us?
My favorite part about the session was being able to spend time with family. (Sydney is my great niece, her grandmother, mother and sister were also at the session helping.)
What is your favorite memory from high school?
My favorite part of high school was when our show choir went on a trip to Orlando where I got to go to Universal Studios and Disney World with my classmates.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In ten years I hope to be finished with my doctorate in psychiatry and having a good career.
How have your goals changed since you started as a freshman to now?
When I was a freshman, my goal was to make it through high school with good grades, and now my goal is to set myself up for college and be successful in the future.
