I learned how to create images by painting with light several years ago. It is kind of a complicated process and I still have a lot to learn. The most fun part if actually putting all the files together to form one photo. Sometimes this could mean a couple hundred files or 10 or 20, just depends on how detailed your original image is and how many photos you took. I have also learned how to create movie builds of the photos.
This is the image I created with some of my husbands medals during his time in the military. The flag display was created by a man who makes them for local veterans. The short video shows some of what goes into building the light painting after all the images have been painted.
