Interview with Alaina Sunlin

What are your plans after high school?

go to college, and hopefully wrestle.

Tell us about the location you chose for your pictures and its significance to you.

We chose the frisbee golf course because there is some nice scenery and locations nearby.

What activities are you involved in and how have they shaped you into the person you are today?

Wrestling has shaped me to be a strong and tough girl. It has taught me to be less afraid of things.

If you could take a dream vacation to anywhere with anyone, where would you go and who would you take with you?

I would take a vacation to Hawaii and take my family because they used to live there.

What advice do you have for the underclassmen as a senior?

Don't change who you are for other people.

Who has inspired you the most so far in life and how have they done that?

Megan Black. She worked very hard to get where she is today in her wrestling career. She always tells funny and motivational stories about her journey in her life to get where she is today

What was your favorite thing about your session with us?

I loved the wrestling portion of the shoot. It was very fun to experiment with different poses, and help brain storm different ideas

What is your favorite memory from high school?

High school wrestling meets were my favorite memory because of all the supporting and fun people.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

.In 10 years I hope done with college, and be running my own gym(s) and teaching classes on dieting, weight loss, and CrossFit. Maybe even wrestling coaching on the side.

How have your goals changed since you started as a freshman to now?

As a freshman, I wanted to be a dr, and I didn't really want to wrestle after college. Now I want to open my own gym business and I hope to continue wrestling after college.
